Caring and Support Services
On-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services
Our school participates in the Social Welfare Department-funded On-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services (OPRS), operated by Heep Hong Society, providing early intervention support for children who are on the waiting list for subsidised pre-school rehabilitation services.
A multidisciplinary professional team from Heep Hong Society, including Special Child Care Workers, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Social Workers, provides individual and small-group training based on each child’s developmental needs.
Training areas include language development, attention training, sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills development, social skills and emotional regulation. Specific goals are set according to each child’s abilities to ensure timely and appropriate support during their critical developmental stage.
Parent consultation and home-training guidance are also provided to help parents understand training strategies and collaborate effectively with the school in supporting their child’s development.
The professional team further offers consultation and advice to teachers, assisting the school in identifying and supporting children with diverse developmental needs, and strengthening the school’s inclusive support capacity.
